To meet program requirements, households must collectively have verifiable gross income of at least 2.7 times the monthly rental payment. In addition, the household’s combined gross income must not exceed the current HUD-published income limits for the applicable household size, based on the 80% Area Median Income (AMI) designation. All applicants will also complete a standard screening process, which includes verifying financial ability to pay and confirming digital identification.

Household Size

Maximum Household Gross Income
The US Department of Housing of Urban Development publishes annual income limits based on household size that are used to determine the maximum household income. The rent program that your household may be eligible for is based on the income limits noted above.
